Riot police fired tear gas at demonstrators and made 63 arrests during an anti-austerity march in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki, where the country's prime minister was due to deliver a speech on the economy later on Saturday. Thousands of protesters, among them many students, were demonstrating in Greece's second-largest city ahead of premier George Papandreou's annual speech, dpa reported.
