In the presence of the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah bin Ahmed Zainal Alireza, the Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme opened here today the pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Accenta Fair 2011. On the occasion, the Minister of Commerce and Industry delivered a speech during which he conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the King of the Kingdom of Belgium and the Belgian people, expressing thanks for inviting Saudi Arabia to this Fair, noting that this invitation will have a positive impact in supporting the relationships between the Kingdom and Belgium. He added: "The pavilion is not confined to introduce our past and cultural heritage but also extends to our present in which we live in the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, as the contents of the pavilion reflects the economic, urban, industrial, agricultural, health and education development the Kingdom experiences in these areas and others.". The Minister of Commerce and Industry also spoke of the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Belgium, adding that the Kingdom's business relations with Belgium and other European Union countries are strong. The opening ceremony was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Belgium and the representative of the Kingdom to the European Union, Faisal bin Hassan Tarad; Undersecretary of Commerce and Industry Ministry for Foreign Trade Abdullah Al-Hammoudi; Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for External Media, Dr Abdulaziz Bin Saleh Bin Salamah and a number of other officials.
