A Turkish television station said that a bomb threat has forced a Britain-bound plane from Pakistan to make an emergency landing in Istanbul, according to AP. HaberTurk television, citing unnamed aviation officials, said the plane received the threat while it was over Bulgaria, west of Turkey, and flew back toward Istanbul to land at the International Ataturk Airport on Wednesday. It said the plane took off from Islamabad and was heading to Manchester, England. It is not clear how many passengers are on the plane.
