The U.S. Envoy for Sudan, Princeton Lyman left here today for Khartoum after a three-day visit during which he discussed with the Secretary General of the Arab League, Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi the current situation in Sudan, particularly in Darfur. The Envoy also participated in Cairo in the Second meeting of the envoys of the United Nations and their other international counterparts for peace in Africa. As many as 100 regional and international envoys for peace in Africa and a number of heads of African states attended the meeting.
