UN: Famine Spreads To Sixth Region In Somalia

A sixth region of Somalia is officially suffering from famine conditions, the United Nations said on Monday, raising to 4 million the number of people in need of humanitarian assistance in the country.
The UN said the Bay Region in the south is the latest to be seeing famine, amid a worsening drought in the Horn of Africa region, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA".
