A group of Saudi intellectuals, thinkers and writers have lauded the coming Souq Okaz as a cultural occasion which is to be launched by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Province in its 5th round, later in this month under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. They also asserted that it translates the cultural rising witnessed in the Kingdom, a real reflection of its civic flourish and a map to Arab heritage future, within and without the Kingdom. Saud bin Ali Al-Sheikhi, Supervisor General of the branch of the Ministry of Culture and Information in Makkah said Souq Okaz occasion shows the interest of the Kingdom leadership and follow up of the Governor of Makkah Province who is also the head of the supreme supervisory committee of the Souq. -- SPA
