The total cash contributions to ''Saudi National Campaign for the Relief of the Somali People" amounted so far to more than SR202 million, in addition to donations in kind including hundreds of tons of dates, foodstuffs, sheltering materials and medical supplies throughout the provinces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The donation Campaign came in response to the call of the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud for the relief of the Somali people suffering from famine.
