The Minister of Commerce and Industry Abdullah bin Ahmed Zaynal said that there are more than 2355 Saudi companies with Saudi investments exceeding $ 10 billion in Egypt, noting that trade exchanges between the two countries exceed four billion dollars. During a meeting of Saudi-Egyptian Business Council in Jeddah yesterday attended by Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Dr. Mahmoud Eisa, Zaynal commended the common desire for strengthening trade and economic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt to the levels that reflect the aspirations of the two countries, stressing that the Kingdom has been one of the largest partners of Egypt in Arab countries. The Council announced the establishment of a bank in Egypt to support small businesses and to maintain the safety of the assets of Saudi investments.
