A Pakistani soldier was killed and three others were wounded in a rocket attack by unidentified gunmen early today on a military garrison city of Quetta, the capital of southwestern Baluchistan Province of Pakistan. A security official said the gunmen fired six rocket-propelled grenades from the mountains of Mourdar, the east of Quetta, in the direction of the military garrison, where four of them exploded, killing one soldier and wounding three others. The remaining two rockets landed in the yard of the central empty residential area but did not lead to any losses. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
