At least 14 people were killed and 3 wounded in a collision between two buses in the Egyptian governorate of Al-Minya. In a statement, an official source of Al-Minya Security Department said the accident was caused by over-speeding on the route of the Egyptian desert-road of Aswan and the south of the village of Jabal Al-Tair at the Center of Samalut in Al-Minya Governorate, killing 14 people and wounding 3 others. The source said the bodies of the victims were transported to Maghagta General Hospital and Bani Mazar General Hospital. The injured persons were taken to Al-Minya General Hospital. Meanwhile, the Prosecutor was notified to initiate an investigation into the incident.
