Five Afghan policemen were killed Sunday by a car bomb in southern Afghanistan, provincial officials said. "A motor bomb was detonated by a suicide attacker around 8:30 this morning on the road outside Helmand police headquarters," the governor's office said in a statement quoted by the German Press Agency "DPA". Five officers were killed and 12 others injured when the blast hit a security patrol, the statement said.
