Moroccan Prime Minister Abbas El-Fassi held talks on Tuesday with Bernardino Léon, the visiting European Union's special representative for the Southern Mediterranean region. They discussed bilateral ties and various aspects of cooperation between the two sides as Morocco is enjoying an advanced status in its relationship with the EU. The two sides also reviewed the good performance of the Moroccan economy in the face of the global crisis as Morocco has been able to achieve growth rates ranging between 5.4 per cent and 5.5 per cent in recent years.
