Serbia on Friday delivered the former Croatian Serb rebel leader Goran Hadzic to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague, closing one of "most difficult chapters" in its relations with the international community, according to dpa. Hadzic was the last suspect the tribunal sought from Serbia. ICTY chief prosecutor Serge Brammertz welcomed Hadzic's arrest and transfer - but also raised the question of his long run from justice and disappearance under murky circumstances. A political leader in a 1991-95 Serb insurgency in Croatia, Hadzic, 52, has been charged with crimes against humanity and violations of laws and customs of war.
