Oil and gas group OMV saw its production drop 9.5 per cent in the second quarter, mainly because of unrest in Arab countries, dpa quoted the Austrian company as saying Friday. The output declined to 275,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d), 29,000 boe/d less than in the first quarter. One barrel equals 159 litres. OMV has stopped producing in Libya and Yemen. A damaged pipeline in Yemen was repaired earlier this month, but it would take some time before pumping starts again, the company said. -- SPA
