Gunmen in northern Afghanistan shot dead three guests at a wedding party and injured 12 others, an official said Sunday, according to dpa. The unidentified men opened fire on the wedding party in Baghlan-e-Markazi district of Baghlan province on Saturday, district governor Amir Gul said. "The motive behind the shooting is still unclear," he said. An investigation was under way. Last month, gunmen killed nine civilians and injured five others at a wedding party in the eastern province of Nangarhar.
