Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari met here last night with Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz Bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer. Pakistani News Agency said that during the meeting they discussed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, issues of common interest and current regional situations. It noted that President Zardari said that Pakistan appreciates ??its friendly relations and close cooperation with Saudi Arabia, stressing that his country wants to strengthen these relations in political, economic and commercial fields. He expressed his country's appreciation of Saudi Arabia for its support for Pakistani Government and people in difficult times, particularly the recent floods that have swept Pakistan. The meeting was attended by Pakistani Minister of Interior Rehman Malik.
