The Saudi Tajik Business Council held its first working joint meeting in Dushanbe today under the co-chairmanship of Tajikistan's First Vice Chairman of the Investment and State Properties Administration Commission Eshangolov Emangon and Dr. Mansour bin Saleh Al-Khunaizan, the leader of the Saudi business delegation to the meeting. Today's meeting was also attended by Prime Minister of Tajikistan Aqeel Aqelov. Addressing the council, Aqelov called on Saudi businessmen to step up their works in his country, affirming his confidence in the Saudi capital and businesses to make great strides in this field. He assured that his country offers a number of great incentives and tax exemptions for foreign investors in special fields, including energy, minerals, aluminium, food stuffs and agricultural products. For his part, Al-Khunaizan affirmed that the meeting would probe the commercial and investment opportunities in industrial, service, and investment fields. He told the meeting that the Kingdom now looks like a grand workshop, buoyed by its middle east largest economy and membership of the world's great economies and taking advantage of its vast capabilities of establishing new projects and rehabilitating its well-built infrastructure. He welcomed the holding of trade exhibitions in the two countries, activating the joint cooperation agreement between the two countries, and encouraging trade and exchange of goods, products, services and visits. He lauded the Tajek's move granting Saudi visitors entry visas at airports.
