Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari said Saturday that terrorism is the biggest challenge being faced in this day and age, Geo News reported. He added that terrorists have no religion and they would not be allowed to force their beliefs on people. Addressing a counter-terrorism conference in Iran, the President said Pakistan has lost over 35,000 lives due to terrorism, the country has lost billions and even former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto gave her life in the fight against terrorism. He added that the only solution to terrorism is to defeat it and this is the toughest problem being faced by the entire world and would require a global effort to defeat. The President added that Pakistan is committed in its fight against terrorism and heart and minds would have to be won to defeat it.
