Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has affirmed that the ongoing dialogue between Pakistan and India is a positive step for peace, security and stability in South Asia. In a statement issued here this morning in the presence of Pakistan's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar, the Prime Minister said "The dialogue is the best and sole option to resolve all outstanding differences between the two countries". "The (option) of peace between Pakistan and India is in the interest of the two countries, directly serving the people of the region and ensuring prosperity and progress for them," Gilani noted.
