Saudi ambassador to Sudan Faisal bin Hamid Muaalla today toured the new charitable projects at the Khartoum-based University of Africa. During the visit, he was accompanied by Abdulrahman Al Al-Sheikh former Secretary General of the Higher Judiciary Council and Rector of the University of Africa Professor Hasan Makki. The visitors were briefed on developmental projects at the university including Sheikha Fatima College for Nursing at a cost of $1,643,570, a mosque accommodating more than 3,000 worshippers, at a cost of $3 million, making it among Khartoum's biggest, Sheikha Nawal female students hostel at a cost of $350,000 which offers room for some 256 students and Al-Awfad boarding house at a cost of $350,000 as well as Mus-haf Afrika (Holy Quran Version for Africa) House.
