Selected horses belonging to a number of stables in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have snatched gold, silver and bronze at the International Mediterranean Championship for the Arab Genuine Beautiful Horses held in Monton, France. During the two-day event, horses from Al-Khalidiyah stable, owned by Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, Azbat stable, owned by Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, and Al-Mohammediyyah stable, owned by Prince Abdullah bin Fahd, collected three gold prizes, two silver and two bronze. Markez from Al-Khalidiyah won gold for Bull Category, itself won the title of the most beautiful horse in the tournament at the Supreme Champion category, Ghazala from Al-Khalidiyah won the first place (gold) for Fillies Category, Montevideo from Al-Mohammediyyah won the Silver for Mare Category, Majora From Al-Khalidiyah got the second place (Silver) for Mare Category, Maximos from Azbat, got the bronze, and Mayasa from Al-Khalidiyah got the third place (bronze) from the Fillies Category.
