Two successive car bombings near the home of the governor of the Iraqi city of al-Diwaniya on Tuesday left at least 25 people dead and 30 injured, according to security sources. The bombings took place outside the home of governor Salem Hussein in the area of al-Sowb al-Sagheer in Diwaniya, some 180 kilometres south of Baghdad. It was not immediately clear whether Hussein himself was injured by the blasts, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA"
