Armed Maoists Blow Up A School in An Eastern Indian State

Indian police said today that Maoist insurgents blew up a school in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand last night.
Police said about 50 rebels planted explosives Friday night inside the school, located in the village of Kita of Jarhwa district in Jharkhand state.
The explosion led to the destruction of the bulk of Lohia Samata High School, but there were no casualties due to the blast.
