Indonesian police said Monday they had arrested 14 terrorism suspects, including seven people who allegedly tried to poison food at police canteens. The suspects were arrested between Thursday and Sunday in Jakarta, Central Java, East Kalimantan and Central Sulawesi provinces, national police spokesman Boy Rafli Amar said. Those arrested in Jakarta were accused of trying to poison food at police canteens with cyanide, Amar was quoted as saying by the German Press Agency "DPA".
