The Minister of Water and Electricity, Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Hossein, has signed a number of contracts for water and sanitation projects at a total cost of more than SR 581 million. The projects will be implemented in the Provinces of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, the Eastern Province, Asir, and Qassim. These projects cover sanitation systems, building dams, water wells, water pipelines and networks, potable water, purification and pumping water stations, and reservoirs.
