A 76-year-old German tourist drowned in the Red Sea
off the coast of Egypt's touristic town of Hurghada, dpa quoted Egyptian
authorities as saying Tuesday.
Hurghada, some 530 kilometres southeast of Cairo, is a popular
among international tourists for its warm weather and world-renowned
diving sites.
Local authorities said they notified the German embassy regarding
the death of its citizen.
