U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday met with French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe in Washington to discuss issues including the Middle East peace process, Afghanistan, and Ivory Coast. “We are certainly committed to working together with the Israelis and the Palestinians to reach a peaceful, mutually beneficial outcome,” Clinton said during the joint news conference. “I am very proud of this partnership and very grateful to have this opportunity once again to explore the very comprehensive agenda that we share.”
