The Deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Information for Cultural Affairs, Dr. Nasser bin Saleh Al-Hujailan, attended here on Monday the election of members of the Board of Directors of Makkah Cultural and Literary Club for the next new term, which is the first electoral process conducted in literary clubs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia according to new regulations issued by the Ministry recently. In his speech, Dr. Al-Hujailan commended material and moral support provided for literary clubs by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, and the Second Deputy Premier, pointing in this regard to a recent royal decree allocating SR 10 million for each club.
