Iraqi officials say a roadside bomb planted outside a suburban shop west of Baghdad has killed a soldier and a firefighter and wounded 10 others. The blast came as security forces rushed to the site of an earlier explosion early Sunday outside the shuttered store in the Abu Ghraib area on the capital's western outskirts. Police officials say the second bomb instantly killed one soldier and the firefighter died later at a hospital. They say five soldiers and five firefighters also were wounded, according to a report of the Associated Press. A hospital medic confirmed the casualties.
