The seven soldiers died in a roadside bomb attack, the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force said in a statement without providing further details. In a separate incident, a NATO military helicopter crashed in eastern Afghanistan on Thursday, killing a foreign soldier, ISAF said in a separate statement. The cause of the crash was unknown and an investigation was underway, it said.
