President Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen made today a telephone call to President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). During the telephone conversation, the Yemeni President expressed regret over the incident that took place yesterday before the UAE Embassy in Sana'a. President Saleh also expressed appreciation of the efforts exerted by the Gulf Cooperation Council Member States to resolve the crisis in his country.
