The President-General of Saudi Railroads Organization, Eng. Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Al-Hugail has expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier for the royal confidence in extending his service for another four-year term as the Organization's President-General. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he has said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is moving forward in implementing the largest expansion of the railroads network and the Kingdom will witness in the near future two projects including Al-Haramain Train, linking Makkah with Madinah via Jeddah by a railway of 450 km long, and North-South Train, linking the center of the Kingdom with the north through phosphate and bauxite mines, commending the Saudi leadership for its continuing attention and follow-up of such projects aiming at developing the railroads transport sector.
