Saudi Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadir strongly condemned the deadly terrorist attack led to the martyrdom of Hassan Missfir Al-Qahtani, a staff at Karachi-based Saudi Consulate General, who has been killed while on his way to his office early this morning. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Ambassador Al-Ghadir said that as he heard the news of the treacherous assault, he immediately contacted the Pakistani political and security concerned authorities, requesting them to enter into security investigations and inform the embassy of its findings, emphasizing his confidence on Pakistani authorities to apprehend the culprits and to bring them to justice. He pointed out that Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Khalid, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, are closely following-up with Pakistani security bodies the proceedings of investigation. The Ambassador said he has asked Pakistani authorities to strengthen guarding the embassy in Islamabad and the consulate in Karachi, and on their staff. The body of the martyr is due to arrive in the Kingdom tonight, the Ambassador concluded. -- SPA
