The Saudi-Qatari joint technical committee on demarcation of land and sea boundaries held first meeting in its 13th session here today. The meeting was co-chaired by the head of Saudi side, President of the General Organization of Survey Marie bin Hassan Al-Shahrani and acting head of Qatari side, Assistant Undersecretary for Planning Affairs at the Ministry of Municipal and Urban Planning Ali bin Abdullah bin Abdullah Al-Abdullah. At the beginning of the meeting, the head of Saudi side welcomed the Qatari delegation, wishing them a good stay in the Kingdom, pointing out that the meeting is following up the previous meetings of the joint committee. Then the technical subcommittee briefed the meeting on the progress of work on the demarcation process. -- SPA
