Two rescue workers were trapped underground at a coal mine in southern Poland on Friday, following a methane explosion that killed one miner and injured three, according to dpa. The explosion occurred late Thursday at a depth of about 820 metres at the Krupinski mine near Pszczyna in the Silesia region. Mine officials said contact could not be established with two rescue workers who were trapped at the mine on Friday.
