Coal Mine Flooding Kills Four in NE China

Four people were confirmed dead in a flooded coal mine pit in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, authorities said Tuesday.
The accident occurred at around 7 a.m. Monday, when eight miners were working at the pit of Oulin Coal Mine in Heihe City. Four of them managed to escape, Xinhua quoted a spokesman of the city's emergency office as saying.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
