A 12-year-old suicide bomber killed three civilians including district council chief and injured at least a dozen others Sunday in south-eastern Afghanistan, officials said. The boy detonated his explosive vest in Ashkin Bazaar of Barmal district in south-eastern province of Paktika early Sunday morning, the provincial governor's office said. Sher Nawaz Khan, the district's council chief, said one woman and two men were killed and 12 others injured in the explosion, it said. The Interior Ministry condemned the suicide attack "in strongest terms," without blaming any group for the incident, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA".
