Awwal 19, 1432, April 23, 2011, SPA -- The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities has set up a Pavilion spread over an area of 525 square meters, the biggest at the venue of the 18th edition of the Arabian Travel Markets Expo, scheduled to take place at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) from May 02-06, 2011. The design of the pavilion stems from the Aseer Province, especially the Antique architecture in Rijal Alma Area. A handy craftswoman who masters color engraving on doors, windows, furniture and pottery will be present in the pavilion along with craftsman from the same area who play piccolo in the traditional pastoralist way, said Abdullah Salman Aljuhani, Vice President of STCA for Marketing and information. "STCA's goal in the event is to introduce Saudi Arabia as travel destination for GCC (The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf) citizens and also to support the activities of the qualified organizers of touring activities, he added. As many as 16 Saudi specialized companies will encourage investment in tourism projects and hotel, and display styles and elements of attraction and tourist services provided in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The 18th Arabian Travel Market Exhibition 2011 will be held under the theme "One Event, Unlimited Destinations". The event is the travel and tourism event unlocking business potential within the Middle East for inbound and outbound tourism professionals.
