BP to provide $1 billion for Gulf projects

Awwal 17, 1432 H / April 21, 2011, SPA -- BP Plc has agreed to provide $1 billion toward initial projects in the Gulf of Mexico to address damage to natural resources stemming from last year's oil spill, the U.S. Justice Department said on Thursday, according to Reuters.
