Awwal 14, 1432, April 18, 2011, SPA -- President of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) Dr. Khalid Al-Sultan held a meeting here today with the visiting academic delegation of the University of Tokyo, Japan. The delegation listened to a briefing on KFUPM's programs, it's latest projects and developmental initiatives, and learnt about the leading scientific centers and industrial sectors both locally and internationally. On Sunday, the delegation toured KFUPM's Research Institute where its members were briefed on the latest hardware and equipment that are being used at the Institute. For their part, the delegation's members praised the high-level of scientific, academic, and research standards prevailing at the KFUPM, and expressed their keen desire to promote joint cooperation between the two universities in the near future.
