Awwal 14, 1432, April 18, 2011, SPA -- Pakistan's Oil and Gas Company has disclosed the discovery of a big natural gas field in the south-western province of Balochistan that can cover a large part of the national needs of gas for 50 years. The Company's Executive Director Naeem Malik said the new large reserves of gas are located in the Deira Bugti region. He said the company initiated the process of exploration by investing about $ 10 million, after obtaining the necessary license from the Pakistani government. "We will complete the drilling process of the first well of the gas field in the region during the month of July, and then will determine accurately the volume of the reserves there," he added.
