Awwal 12, 1432, April 16, 2011, SPA -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the provision of $ 650 million to support the Pakistani government in the reconstruction of infrastructure in areas hit by the disaster - the devastating floods last year. The Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported today that an agreement was signed between the Asian Development Bank and the Government of Pakistan under which the bank will spend this amount to rebuild roads, bridges and an irrigation system and to create jobs and support economic and commercial activities in the areas affected by floods.
