Awwal 16, 1432, April 16, 2011, SPA -- Pakistan's Federal Minister Syed Naveed Qamar and Kazakh Vice Minister signed the Joint Protocol on behalf of their respective countries to cooperate in various aspects of economy and to promote trade and investment. According to a press release issued here on Friday, the 7th Session of Pak-Kazakh Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) was held here in Islamabad during which Pakistan and Kazakhstan signed protocol to cooperate in various aspects of economy and promote trade and investment. The Session was co-chaired by Syed Naveed Qamar, Minister for Water & Power, Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Azat Bekturov, Vice Minister of Transport and Communication of Republic of Kazakhstan. During the session, the two sides acknowledged deep historical cultural and political relations between the two countries and expressed the hope that the current momentum in translating excellent political relations into commercial and economic opportunities would further promote bilateral cooperation.
