Eastern Region's governorate completes preparedness for municipal elections

Awwal 11, 1432 / April 15, 2011, SPA -- Mayor of the Eastern Region Dhaifullah bin Ayesh Al-Otaibi, who is also Head of the Supervisory Committee for Municipal Elections in the region, scheduled to take place on April 23, 2011, confirmed today his department's readiness to hold the elections.
In a statement to SPA, Al-Otaibi said voters will go to 98 electoral centers and 31 electoral districts to choose members of 21 municipal councils.
