Tuwaijri, Deputy Assistant of the Commander of the National Guard and Deputy Head of the festival's organizing committee said Janadriyah festival managed to appear every year in a new show.
Then Prince Miteb bin Abdullah opened the pavilion of Japan in its capacity as the State Guest of Honor of the festival. He also cut the ribbon of King Abdulaziz Center for Archive and Information and toured Makkah building, Eastern Region Home, King Khalid exhibition and pensions authority pavilion.
Taking the podium, Toko Naga Hisashi, Special envoy of the Japanese Prime Minister, expressed happiness to take part in the opening of the festival as an official envoy of Japan upon a generous invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He called on the public to visit Japan's pavilion to see the spirit of the Japanese people.
He gave an account on the post-tsunami situation in Japan.
