Awwal 09, 1432 / April 13, 2011, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud patronized here today the opening ceremony of the 26th Janadriyah National Festival for Heritage and Culture which is annually organized by the National Guard. Upon his arrival at the venue, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was received by Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet Member, Commander of the National Guard, and President of the Festival's Supreme Committee; and a number of officials. Then, a number of princes and officials shook hands with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques received King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and the accompanying delegation. The Saudi and Bahraini royal anthems were played, followed by a recitation of verses of the Holy Quran. Then, the grand camel race started. --More
