Awwal 08, 1432 / April 12, 2011, SPA -- Finance ministers in addition to central banks governors of member states of Group of 20 will meet next Thursday in Washington, it was reported here today. The meeting's agenda include discussions on developments of the world economy, framework for balanced and sustainable growth, reforming world monetary system in addition to follow-up the implementation of the group's resolutions in the field of financial regulatory reforms and fluctuations of basic commodity prices. Moreover, the finance ministers and central banks governors of the member parties of the Monetary and Finance Committee, an affiliate of the International Monetary Fund, and the Development Committee affiliated to the World Bank for Construction and Rehabilitation are scheduled to hold talks on Saturday and Sunday. They are set to discuss the situations of the international economy, stock markets, challenges related to economic policies, and a report on the Internatioanl development for 2011. The Saudi delegation to the meetings will be led by Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf; Governor of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) Dr. Mohammed Al-Jasser; Deputy President and Managing Director of Saudi Development Fund Yusuf Al-Bassam; and a number of senior officials. -- SPA
