Arab Finance Ministers Council Holds Meeting in Syria

Awwal 02, 1432 H/April 06, 2011, SPA -- Presided over by Obaid Humaid Al-Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, the Council of Arab Ministers of Finance
held here this evening its 2nd annual meeting in the presence of the Ministers of Finance in the Arab States, governors of Arab banks and central banks.
Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf led his country's delegation to the meeting.
The meeting discussed the overall international financial and economic issues of concern to the Arab world and ways of coordinating the positions of the Arab countries towards both the International Monetary Bank (IMF) and the World Bank.
