On behalf of the Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Muhaydin Khoja, the Deputy of Ministry of Culture and Information for Foreign Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Saleh bin Salamah opened on Monday King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud Library, containing 22,000 books and references, at Russian Islamic University in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. The opening ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the Russian Federation Hassan Ja'afar. In his speech, Dr. Bin Salamah said, "It's a great honor to witness the fruits of major efforts initiated by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan for nearly four years ago for the establishment of this scientific and cultural edifice associated with the name of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, who has been globally known for his human and civilization initiatives in the service of Muslim peoples and the humanity, as a whole''. On her part, the First Vice-President of the Republic of Tatarstan Valeeva Zilya commended in her speech King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz for his prominent and pioneering roles in the service of all Islamic actions and his support for science, culture and thought all over the world.
