Awwal 01, 1432, April 05, 2011, SPA -- A United Nations plane has crashed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a U.N. spokesman said on Monday "We can confirm that a U.N. aircraft crashed at 1300 hours GMT on landing in Kinshasha in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. There were 29 passengers plus the aircrew of the aircraft on board," U.N. spokesman Martin Nesirky said at a regular briefing. "We are not in a position to provide exact figures on casualties."
